Warhammer 40k Excellence: White Scars, Kroot Renegades, and Commissions

My Girlfriend needed a thunderwolf mount for her Iron Priest and as always I was there to help out.  Its funny how you remember things when your not really thinking about them… But my muse must have been on my shoulder that day and i remembered WAY back to the Old mechwarrior Dark age game and a Mech known as a “Thunder fox”  Rushing online I managed to score myself 3 of these sweet mechs for next to nothing.  A couple of quick slices with the knife, a drop of green stuff and a mini dig in my bits box later I came up with this totally sweet Cyber Mount

The Missing arm will be glued on once ive painted it, but for the moment this bad boy is ready to go

Just Finished Today, here is my Barracuda Drone Fighter

As you can see ive used a Piranha for the base model and just reconfigured the parts. 

Since its a drone fighter i had to enclose the Cockpit, lucky I still had some Old Star Wars ep1 droid fighters around and was able to use the wings to continue the body (ive got to break it off and re-align it since the line is about 2mm off).

The 2 seeker missiles are magnetised to the missile pods and the burst cannons are from the stealth suit kits and will be fixed the drone pods once ive painted what is required.

This is my Land speeder Squadron for my Howling Gryphons army   NOW you might be thinking that ive done this simply to make some cool speeder conversions.. AND YOU WOULD BE WRONG.  I did this conversion simply to prevent myself having to paint quartered red and Yellow on the speeder AND the two pilots!  Tis always fun how my Laziness for painting makes my conversions more interesting
